What’s on History tonight? Here is the full History schedule for Sunday, November 1, 2026, with times in Eastern Time (ET).

History gives Sunday to American Pickers, in no particular order

History has handed almost its entire Sunday to American Pickers, and the order is closer to a shuffle than a season. Between 9am and 11:05pm ET it runs the show nearly without pause, pulling episodes from across the series: season 1 at noon, season 26 at 3pm, season 24 at 6pm.

That scattershot approach is the thing to know. If you want to follow a thread, you cannot. Frank’s Gamble (S01E07) at noon, Wolves in Wisconsin (S23E18) at 2pm and Speedway Thrills (S26E04) an hour later have nothing in common but the format. The Best Of hour at 8pm ET/PT (7pm Central) is itself a compilation, so primetime opens on highlights rather than a full episode.

The pick is the late one. Tough Nut To Crack at 10:03pm is numbered season 16, episode 1, the only series-opener tag on the channel today. It follows Detroit Dreaming (S11E19) at 9pm, which is the longest slot of the evening at 63 minutes and the anchor of the night. Detroit Dreaming is the safer watch, and it faces Watch What Happens Live on Bravo and The Gilded Age on HBO. Tough Nut To Crack gets the nod because it runs against thinner opposition: Freeform’s The Little Mermaid and FX’s National Treasure: Book of Secrets, both rewatches for most viewers. Can’t Catch a Break (S14E34) at 11:05pm closes the night.

Outside Pickers, there are two real alternatives. Overnight, The UnXplained fills the small hours: The Hunt for Jack the Ripper (S03E21) at 12:03am, Mysterious Mummies at 1am and Deadly Cults at 3am. It airs twice today and on four days in the window. Midnight viewers will find nothing else to choose from here.

At 7am ET, Jim Thorpe: Lit By Lightning, a 2025 film, is the one thing that breaks the pattern. It runs two hours. A slim two stars for a title we know almost nothing about.

Paid Program and CSN Mint fill the early hours. Skip them.
