MovieWhat’s on Paramount Network tonight? Here is the full Paramount Network schedule for Tuesday, October 27, 2026, with times in Eastern Time (ET).
Paramount Network keeps primetime simple: one movie, 150 minutes of it
Miss Congeniality starts at 8:35pm ET and runs 150 minutes, which is the whole of primetime. It is the 2000 comedy directed by Donald Petrie, with Sandra Bullock, Benjamin Bratt, Candice Bergen, Michael Caine and William Shatner in the cast. It’s also a film the channel has aired on four days in this window, so it is hardly a rarity.
The 8:35pm start matters. Most of the competition begins on the hour or half hour: Family Guy on Comedy Central, Two and a Half Men on IFC, The Big Bang Theory on TBS and a block of classic sitcoms on the free networks. A late start gives Paramount a few minutes of head start with anyone who has just finished something else. It also means the film runs to 11:05pm ET.
The 11:05pm ET slot goes to We’re the Millers, a 2013 film from Rawson Marshall Thurber starring Jennifer Aniston and Jason Sudeikis. It’s the same film that aired at 6pm ET, so a viewer who missed it has two chances, and a viewer who watched it at 6pm has one more reason to leave.
The rest of the day is Bar Rescue from 9am to 6pm ET, hour after hour, plus Everybody Loves Raymond at breakfast. Old School and Role Models fill the overnight.
Miss Congeniality is the pick, with three stars: a solid, familiar choice with no great surprises.

Bar Rescue by day, blockbusters by night
Paramount Network runs two channels in one. By day it is a Bar Rescue channel: the series was on 14 of the 15 days we tracked and aired 159 times, roughly ten or eleven episodes a day. By night it is a movie channel, and a committed one: every programme we counted in the 7pm to 11pm window was a film.
It is an American basic cable channel that dates back to 1983 and replaced Spike TV, the network where Bar Rescue first aired. That history shows. The daytime is still built around the reality series Spike made its name with, while the evening has turned over to studio franchises.
Reality took 65% of all airtime and films 27%, with the remainder going to news magazines in the early morning. The channel runs about 18 programmes a day, fewer than most, because so much of the evening goes to films of two hours or more.
How a Paramount Network day runs
The early morning is the one part of the schedule that stays put. Inside Edition sits at 6am on weekdays, and an entertainment news show follows at 6:30am, both in the same slot every time we checked.
From 7am, Bar Rescue takes over and usually holds the channel until the late afternoon. Its usual start time is 7am, but because it runs in such long blocks, it is the default for most of the day rather than a show with a slot.
The handover to films usually comes in the late afternoon or around 6pm, and from there it is movies until late. Primetime, 8pm to 11pm ET, does not run on a fixed grid: films start when the previous one ends, so the evening’s titles land at times like 8:05pm, 8:28pm, 8:45pm or 9:05pm rather than on the hour. The last film of the night often starts close to 11pm and carries on past midnight.
At weekends the film share rises to 43% of airtime, against 22% on weekdays, and the morning news magazines disappear. That leaves room for films from midday on Saturday and Sunday.
Popular shows and films on Paramount Network
Bar Rescue is a reality series hosted by Jon Taffer that began in 2011. On Paramount Network it is less a show than a format for the daytime, and it is the only title that appeared on almost every day we tracked.
The Ocean’s films are the most-repeated movies on the channel. Ocean’s Eleven (2001), Ocean’s Twelve (2004) and Ocean’s Thirteen (2007) are heist films directed by Steven Soderbergh with George Clooney and Brad Pitt, and between them they aired 15 times in the two weeks we tracked, Ocean’s Twelve most often at 8:45pm.
The Jack Reacher films, Jack Reacher (2012) and Jack Reacher: Never Go Back (2016), are action thrillers. The first was directed by Christopher McQuarrie, the second by Edward Zwick with Tom Cruise and Cobie Smulders. Jack Reacher tends to land at 9pm, the sequel late at night.
The Indiana Jones films, Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981), Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984) and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989), are adventure films directed by Steven Spielberg with Harrison Ford, and tend to run back to back.
The early Harry Potter films, from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone (2001) to Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004), with Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint, also ran as a sequence, usually starting around midday.
A franchise habit, with a seasonal twist
The pattern is clear: Paramount Network buys in series of films and plays them in order. Ocean’s, Reacher, Indiana Jones, Harry Potter and Brendan Fraser’s two Mummy films (1999 and 2001) all ran that way. Comedies fill the gaps, among them Old School (2003), Just Go with It (2011), Legally Blonde (2001) and Miss Congeniality (2000).
In the run-up to Halloween the selection also took in The Addams Family (1991) and Addams Family Values (1993), a horror-comedy. Those are seasonal picks; the franchise habit is the year-round character.
How to watch Paramount Network
Paramount Network is a cable channel, so it is not free over the air with an antenna. Without cable, it is carried by most of the major live TV streaming services. It no longer has an app of its own: the Paramount Network app closed in 2024.
Channels like Paramount Network
- TNT also turns its evening over almost entirely to films after a daytime of series.
- USA Network runs one show in enormous blocks the way Paramount Network runs Bar Rescue, though in its case it is a crime drama.
- AMC and FX are where to go if you want the films without the daytime reality: both give about nine-tenths of their airtime to movies.
- Showtime shows many of the same kind of studio films, including both Jack Reacher titles, as a premium channel with no daytime series at all.
Who it’s for
Paramount Network suits two kinds of viewer: people who can watch Bar Rescue for an afternoon, and people who want a big, familiar studio film in the evening without picking one. If you have missed the start of a franchise, there is a fair chance the next film follows straight on. If you want new scripted series, there were none in the two weeks we tracked.
What’s on Paramount Network most nights?
A film, and usually two or three in a row, starting anywhere from 7pm to 9pm ET. The franchises, from Ocean’s to Indiana Jones, come round most often.
When is Bar Rescue on Paramount Network?
Most days, from around 7am through the afternoon, in long blocks of episodes.
Does Paramount Network show movies?
Yes, every evening. Films took all of the primetime airtime we counted and about 27 a week in total.
How can I watch Paramount Network without cable?
Most of the major live TV streaming services carry it. There is no longer a Paramount Network app.
