What’s on Disney Channel tonight? Here is the full Disney Channel schedule for Tuesday, October 27, 2026, with times in Eastern Time (ET).

Disney Channel’s prime hour belongs to Phineas and Ferb

Disney Channel runs its primetime on Phineas and Ferb, and it is not shy about it. Four of the six half-hours between 8pm and 11pm ET are the animated comedy-musical, from “Attack of the Candace Suit; Book Flub” at 8pm ET through to “Bend It Like Doof; Dooflicated” at 10pm ET. The episodes are numbered S05E11 to S05E14 in order, so a viewer who tunes in at eight can follow the run straight through.

That is a sensible bet. The series has 255 episodes behind it, and it airs every day in our window, so it works as a fixture for families rather than a one-off treat. The only interruption is Vampirina: Teenage Vampire at 9pm ET, a short detour for anyone who wants the second Disney series on the night.

The scheduling oddity is the 10:30pm ET slot. Kiff airs “Trevor’s Rockin Halloween Bash” there, with Halloween four days off, which is the one place tonight where the calendar has clearly shaped the lineup. It is a better fit for a late family evening than the usual repeat.

Against the competition, there isn’t much of a fight: this is children’s television in the hours when Dancing with the Stars, NCIS and the 2026 World Series are all airing elsewhere. The schedule is for the household that has handed the TV to the kids, and it does that job without fuss.

After 11pm ET, Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir takes the channel into the small hours.

A cartoon channel from morning to midnight

Disney Channel is an American channel for children and young teens, on the air since 1983, and today it is overwhelmingly a cartoon channel. Animation took 93% of its airtime in the two weeks we tracked, and 86% even in primetime. It runs about 45 programmes a day, nearly all of them short, and 86% of airtime went to titles that came back on at least three different days.

Two shows carry the schedule. Big City Greens aired 180 times and Bluey 171 times, both on every one of the 15 days we tracked. That is roughly a dozen episodes of each, every day.

How a Disney Channel day runs

The day splits cleanly by age. Mornings are for preschoolers, and they run like clockwork, with several shows in the same slot every day. Bluey is a constant through the early hours and the morning, often from around 5am. Pupstruction sits at 6:30am, Spidey and His Amazing Friends at 7:30am and Iron Man and his Awesome Friends at 8am. Sofia the First: Royal Magic comes around 9:30am, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+ at 10am, Superkitties at 11am and Disney Jr.’s Ariel at 12:30pm.

From the afternoon the channel ages up. Phineas and Ferb tends to arrive around 3:30pm, and Big City Greens and Kiff run in long stretches through the late afternoon.

Primetime, 8pm to 11pm ET, is aimed at older kids and still mostly animated. Big City Greens often holds the 7pm hour and Phineas and Ferb is the most common primetime show, usually from 8pm, with 33 evening airings across ten nights. The live-action shows come at 9pm: Wizards Beyond Waverly Place and Vampirina: Teenage Vampire both most often took that slot. Kiff usually closes the evening at 10:30pm, and Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir is the regular at 11pm.

Weekends shift a little toward films, which took 9% of weekend airtime against 3% on weekdays.

Popular shows on Disney Channel

Bluey is the most reliable thing on the channel: on every day we tracked, mostly in the morning and overnight.

Big City Greens is an animated comedy series that began in 2018 and has run for four seasons. It is on every day, more often than anything else, and frequently in the early evening.

Phineas and Ferb is an animated comedy-musical series that began in 2007 and has run for five seasons and 255 episodes. It is Disney Channel’s primetime regular, usually from 8pm.

Wizards Beyond Waverly Place is a sitcom that began in 2024 and has run for three seasons, with David Henrie and Janice LeAnn Brown, and Selena Gomez among the cast. It is one of the few live-action shows on the channel and usually airs at 9pm.

Vampirina: Teenage Vampire is a comedy series that began in 2025 and has run for two seasons. It most often takes the 9pm slot.

Spidey and His Amazing Friends is an animated preschool series that began in 2021 and has run for four seasons. It sits at 7:30am on most days.

Films and the October run

Films are an occasional treat rather than a habit: about nine a week, each shown only once. Most are animated features such as The Incredibles (2004), Monsters, Inc. (2001), Toy Story 3 (2010) and Monsters University (2013), with the bigger ones landing at 7pm or 8pm. The channel’s own musical films also come round. In the window we tracked, Kenny Ortega’s Descendants (2015), Descendants 2 (2017) and Descendants 3 (2019), with Dove Cameron and Sofia Carson, ran back to back on a single day, alongside the newer Descendants: The Rise of Red (2024) and Descendants: Wicked Wonderland (2026). Camp Rock 3 (2026), a TV movie with Malachi Barton and Joe, Nick and Kevin Jonas, aired too.

The window fell before Halloween, and some of the evening shows lean into it, such as the Shortstober with Big City Greens special and Zombies: The Re-Animated Series. That is seasonal; the cartoon-first shape is permanent.

How to watch Disney Channel

Disney Channel is a cable channel, so it is not free over the air with an antenna. Without cable, you can stream it live on YouTube TV, Hulu + Live TV, Sling TV, Fubo and DirecTV Stream. Many of its shows are on Disney+ on demand. The DisneyNOW website also streams the channel live and on demand if you sign in with a TV provider; the DisneyNOW mobile and streaming-device apps are no longer available.

Channels like Disney Channel

  • Freeform suits the older end of the Disney Channel audience: comedy reruns by day and films every evening.
  • PBS gives about a third of its airtime to animation, most of it children’s shows in the daytime.
  • Hallmark Channel mixes sitcom reruns with TV movies, a gentler option once the kids have gone to bed.
  • TBS is the comedy-rerun channel for teenagers who have outgrown cartoons.

Who it’s for

Disney Channel works best for families with young children: the preschool morning is dependable and the same shows sit in the same slots day after day. Older kids get Phineas and Ferb, Big City Greens and the 9pm live-action shows in the evening. Adults without children will find very little here, and teenagers looking for drama will find almost none.

What’s on Disney Channel most nights?

Usually Big City Greens around 7pm ET, Phineas and Ferb from 8pm, a live-action show such as Wizards Beyond Waverly Place at 9pm, and Kiff at 10:30pm.

When is Bluey on Disney Channel?

Every day, many times a day, mostly in the early morning and through the morning hours.

Does Disney Channel show movies?

Yes, about nine a week in the window we measured, mostly animated features and the channel’s own musical films, with more at weekends.

How can I watch Disney Channel without cable?

Stream it live on YouTube TV, Hulu + Live TV, Sling TV, Fubo or DirecTV Stream, or watch its shows on demand on Disney+.
