EntertainmentWhat’s on MeTV tonight? Here is the full MeTV schedule for Tuesday, October 27, 2026, with times in Eastern Time (ET).
MeTV builds Tuesday primetime out of three sitcom pairs
MeTV’s night is simple: two half hours each of three comedies, no gaps and no surprises. The Andy Griffith Show opens at 8pm ET with two episodes back to back, and that is the one to pick. It is a sitcom that has run 249 episodes to date, and the channel airs it twice today, so there’s a second chance if you miss the evening run. At 8pm ET the broadcast networks are on Dancing with the Stars and NCIS, so this is the quieter choice.
Everybody Loves Raymond takes over at 9pm ET with the first season’s twentieth and twenty-first episodes. Solid, but it’s the middle of the sandwich.
The better close is The Golden Girls at 10pm ET, two more episodes from its fifth season. Among the cast are Bea Arthur, Betty White, Rue McClanahan and Estelle Getty, and the show has 180 episodes to its name. Stay up for that rather than sampling all three.

Classic TV by the clock: what MeTV is
MeTV is a channel of old American television, run to a timetable so fixed you could set a watch by it. Westerns fill the afternoon, police and detective shows fill the morning and the small hours, and the evening belongs to sitcoms. Across the week we tracked, 71% of its airtime went to titles that came back on three or more days, and almost nothing on it was made this century.
That repetition is the point rather than a flaw. MeTV is built for people who want to know that Gunsmoke is on at 1pm and Bonanza follows it at 2pm, every weekday, without checking. New programmes barely exist here, and films are rare: about two or three a week, and in the week we tracked all of them on Sunday.
What a day on MeTV looks like
The overnight hours are a crime and suspense block. The Twilight Zone opens the day at 12:35am, Alfred Hitchcock Presents follows at 1:05am, and then the detectives take over: Mannix at 2:05am, Cannon at 3:05am and Barnaby Jones at 4:05am. Dragnet arrives around 5am.
Weekday mornings move from cops to family shows and back. Adam-12 airs at 6am and Hogan’s Heroes at 6:30am, Leave It to Beaver at 8am, then Perry Mason at 9am, Matlock at 10am and Hawaii Five-O at 11am. The Waltons takes noon.
The afternoon is the western block, and it is the most dependable stretch on the channel. Gunsmoke is at 1pm, Bonanza at 2pm, The Rifleman at 3pm (usually two episodes back to back) and Wagon Train at 4pm. Emergency closes the afternoon at 5pm.
Evenings turn to comedy. MAS*H usually runs from 6pm or 7pm, The Andy Griffith Show takes 8pm on weeknights (two episodes), Everybody Loves Raymond 9pm and The Golden Girls 10pm, with The Carol Burnett Show at 11pm Monday to Thursday. All times are Eastern, and MeTV’s primetime is the same 8 to 11pm window as the big networks, filled with sitcoms instead of new series.
Saturdays and Sundays
The weekend is where the schedule loosens. Saturday starts with Petticoat Junction at 5am and The Beverly Hillbillies at 6am, then turns to cartoons: The Woody Woodpecker Show, Bugs Bunny and Friends and Popeye and Pals. On weekdays, Toon In With Me holds the 7am slot.
Saturday evening has the channel’s best-known fixture. The Three Stooges fill the early evening from 6pm, and then Svengoolie takes the night, starting at 8pm and running for two and a half to three hours. In the week of Halloween it moved up to 7pm and ran longer. If you only know one thing about MeTV’s schedule, it is probably that Svengoolie is on Saturday night.
Sunday is the day for a film, when there is one. In the week we tracked, the channel gave Sunday daytime to The Wizard of Oz (1939), twice, with The Wiz (1978) in between, then went back to The Golden Girls and Everybody Loves Raymond in the evening.

How to watch MeTV

- Cozi TV does the same thing with sitcoms from the 1980s to the 2000s, in long runs of one show at a time.

- Grit is the channel for anyone who watches MeTV mainly for its afternoon westerns, with western films most of the day.
Who it’s for
MeTV is for viewers who like television from the 1950s to the 1990s and like it served on a timetable. If you want anything new, or a choice of films, look elsewhere.
