What’s on AMC tonight? Here is the full AMC schedule for Sunday, November 1, 2026, with times in Eastern Time (ET).

AMC wakes up from Halloween and goes looking for something to shoot

The best of AMC’s Sunday is in the morning, not in primetime. The Terminator at 10am ET is the film to build the day around, and Predator follows at 12:30pm, a pairing of 1984 and 1987 action films that needs no help from the schedule. The evening, by contrast, is one film shown twice.

That film is Jurassic World: Dominion, and the scheduling is the story. It airs at 7pm ET and then again at 10:15pm ET/PT, each time at 195 minutes. The first showing runs straight into the second, so a viewer who sits down at 7pm is in the chair until 10:15pm and can start over if they like. The opposition at 10:15pm is The Little Mermaid on Freeform and Vampirina: Teenage Vampire on Disney Channel. The film is a 2022 sequel directed by Colin Trevorrow with Bryce Dallas Howard, Laura Dern, Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum in the cast. Two airings in one night is a statement about how little AMC has planned for a Sunday, and I rate it two stars for that reason, not for the film.

Start the day instead at 8am with Halloween. John Carpenter’s 1978 original is the one that earns its slot, and AMC has shown it on six separate days in the current window, which is a lot even for the weekend after October 31. Four stars, and the best scary choice of the day if you prefer to meet it in daylight.

Then there is the overnight run, which is the surprise. Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers airs at 1am and again at 4am, with Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers wedged between them at 2am. Both sequels have been on this channel four times in the window. Donald Pleasence is in each, and Danielle Harris too. They are the weakest rung of the ladder here. Number 4 is the more watchable of the pair, so give it three stars. Number 5 gets two. If you are up at 2am anyway, you will not be bored, but nobody should set an alarm.

Christine at 6am is a quiet addition: a 1983 horror film that has only been on twice in the window, so it is the least worn-out title in the overnight block.

The afternoon is lighter. Men in Black at 3pm and Men in Black II at 5pm are a straight double bill, both directed by Barry Sonnenfeld, with Tommy Lee Jones in the first and Will Smith in the second. They are a comedy interval between the Predator hunt and the dinosaurs. The original is the better film. If you only have time for one, take the 3pm.

Put it together and the day divides cleanly. Mornings and afternoons are for people who want a film they chose. The overnight block is for horror fans who never went to bed. Primetime is a film on a loop. If you only watch one thing on AMC on 1 November, make it The Terminator.
