EntertainmentWhat’s on Hallmark Channel tonight? Here is the full Hallmark Channel schedule for Sunday, November 1, 2026, with times in Eastern Time (ET).
Hallmark Channel swaps its best bet for its newest on a movie-only Sunday
Hallmark Channel’s Sunday is twelve movies back to back, with no series to break the run, and the night belongs to the newest of them. A Danish Christmas, a 2026 movie, takes the 8pm ET/PT slot (7pm Central), and it is the pick largely because nothing else on the channel today is both fresh and in primetime.
That is a judgment on position, not on the movie itself. Nothing about A Danish Christmas has been announced beyond its title, its year and its two-hour slot, so the case for it is simple: the channel chose to put a 2026 premiere-year title at the head of the evening, and it faces a crowded 8pm. ABC has Mrs. Doubtfire, Freeform has Aladdin, and Food Network has Tournament of Champions: All-Star Christmas. If you want a Christmas movie that is not a family comedy or a cooking contest, this is where you land.
The better-built evening may be what follows. The Christmas Secret at 10pm ET/PT is a 2014 television film directed by Norma Bailey, and it first aired on Hallmark Mystery, not here. Bethany Joy Lenz leads. It is a decade old and the channel clearly trusts it in the late slot, up against Freeform’s The Little Mermaid and FX’s National Treasure: Book of Secrets. Three stars, and a sensible way to close.
Earlier in the day the schedule is worth sampling rather than following. Northern Lights of Christmas, at 8am ET, is another Hallmark Mystery original, from 2018, directed by Jonathan Wright and starring Ashley Williams and Corey Sevier. The Christmas Cottage, at 6am, is a 2017 romance directed by Paul A. Kaufman with Merritt Patterson and Steve Lund. Both are the kind of film you put on while the coffee brews.
The weakest part of the day is the repetition. Winter Wonderlanes, at 2pm ET, turns up in the window on three separate days, October 23 and 24 as well as today. Adopting St. Nick, at 6pm, is also a 2026 title and airs on October 31 and again today, which makes it a poor choice if you caught it last night. Two stars at best.
Overnight, the block runs the other way: Mystery on Mistletoe Lane at midnight takes three hours, the only slot all day longer than two. After that, Magic in Mistletoe and An Alpine Holiday keep the clock moving until the morning pair.
