Lifetime has skipped the costumes and scheduled its usual Saturday: movies, back to back, from late morning until midnight. Six of them, and four have kidnapping in the title. The only one dated 2026 in primetime is We’re Getting Out of Here Alive at 8pm ET, a two-hour movie, with Kidnapped in Her Own Home: The Martha Carelli Story, also a 2026 title, at 10pm.

If you want one, take the 8pm. It is the first of the two newest titles, and it faces the World Series on Fox, Ghostbusters: Afterlife on FX and a lot of Halloween specials, so it is the right counter-programming for anyone who wants no Halloween at all. I have no view on the film itself, only on the slot.

The afternoon has the best-credited title. Girl in the Shed: The Kidnapping of Abby Hernandez (2022, directed by Jessica Harmon) is on at 2pm ET, a good way to sample the night without committing to it. Kidnapped by a Killer: The Heather Robinson Story (2025) follows at 4pm, then Abducted Off the Street: The Carlesha Gaither Story (2024) at 6pm.

Overnight is four hours of NCIS back to back from midnight, a daily fixture, and the morning is all paid programming until 11am. That makes the movie run the whole story.
