What’s on FOX tonight? Here is the full FOX schedule for Sunday, November 1, 2026, with times in Eastern Time (ET).

Fox fills Sunday primetime with cartoons, one sitcom and a long local finish

Fox has built its Sunday night out of half-hour comedy, and then it stops. Four shows run from 8pm ET/PT (7pm Central), and at 10pm ET the schedule hands the final two hours to local stations. That makes this a short evening, and an easy one to plan around. The Simpsons leads it, and it is the one to start with.

The Simpsons at 8pm ET/PT is season 38, episode 5, “Testing 1-2-3”, and it runs 31 minutes. The show is an animated sitcom that has passed 800 episodes, and a number like that tells you what Fox is leaning on here: a habit. The pick stays because the slot is the strongest on the network’s night and nothing else on Fox has its record behind it. Four stars. Over on ABC, Mrs. Doubtfire begins a couple of minutes later and runs for three hours, which is the real competition.

Animal Control follows at 8:31pm with “Sled Dogs and Kitty Litter”, season 5, episode 5. It is a sitcom with Joel McHale, Vella Lovell, Ravi Patel and Grace Palmer in the cast, and with 43 episodes behind it, it is the change of pace in a block of cartoons. It gets three stars. Fox also shows it earlier, at 7pm ET, with a different episode, “Bugs and Rabid Dogs”. Two installments in one evening is a lot of Animal Control, so most viewers will want to pick one.

Universal Basic Guys takes the 9:02pm slot with “Termination Salvation”, season 3, episode 5. It is an adult animated sitcom with 25 episodes to its name, and it also appears twice on the day, with “La Gloire Du Bouffon” at 7:30pm ET. Grimsburg closes the comedy at 9:31pm with “CrimeShare”, season 3, episode 5. It is another adult animated sitcom, a younger one at 19 episodes. Both earn three stars. They are the weaker links in the chain, although they are the only way to keep an animation-only evening going until 10pm.

Against them CBS has Marshals at 8:30pm and Tracker at 9:30pm, Bravo has Married at First Sight, and Comedy Central has Family Guy. Fox has one advantage in this field. Its shows are half an hour each, so anyone who dips in and out loses very little.

Earlier in the day Fox is a football channel. Fox NFL Sunday starts at noon ET, followed by NFL Football at 1pm ET (10am PT) for 210 minutes. The Floor, with “A Gamble for Gloy” as its episode title, is on at 4:30pm ET as a game show breather. Morning viewers get FOX News Sunday at 8:30am ET and College Basketball at 9:30am.

If you want one thing from Fox, it is The Simpsons at 8pm. If you want an evening of it, the animation block runs to 10pm ET and then the schedule belongs to your local station.
