Bravo has given its Halloween Saturday to comedy, and the evening only really makes sense if you start at 7pm ET. Scary Movie, the 2000 film directed by Keenen Ivory Wayans, runs two hours and sets up the 9pm ET slot, where Scary Movie 2 follows from 2001 with Anna Faris, Regina Hall, and Shawn and Marlon Wayans back in the cast. The second film is the one the channel has made its primetime anchor, so it is the pick, but three stars is generous. The first is the better one to see, and it gets four. Bravo knows it, because it plays Scary Movie again at 11pm ET.

That makes six hours of Scary Movie in a row, the first film, the sequel, then the first film again. If you only have a single evening slot to spare, spend it at 7pm.

The daytime is the more interesting part of the schedule. Bravo runs the Blade trilogy back to back, from 11:30am ET: Blade, then Blade II at 2pm, then Blade: Trinity at 4:30pm, each 150 minutes. The middle film, directed by Guillermo del Toro, with Wesley Snipes and Ron Perlman, is the one worth tuning in for, and earns four stars. Blade: Trinity brings in Jessica Biel and Ryan Reynolds, and it is also the entry that sits closest to primetime. All three films aired on Oct. 30 as well, so Bravo has made a two-day event of it.

Before that, at 9am ET, comes Lisa Frankenstein, a 2024 comedy horror directed by Zelda Williams, with Kathryn Newton and Cole Sprouse in it. It is an odd morning choice, but a reasonable one for anyone who wants Halloween viewing before lunch.

The breakfast hours are given over to The Real Housewives of New York City, three episodes from 6am ET, ending on one titled Eat, Drink, and Be Scary. The franchise airs on ten days of the past two weeks, so it is as much a fixture as any Halloween plan. Overnight, Night Swim (1:30am ET) and Inside (3:30am) are the quieter picks for a late finish, with Willem Dafoe in the second.

At 9pm ET the competition is thinner than it looks. Scary Movie 2 faces Halloween II on AMC, Halloween Baking Championship on Food Network and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit on ION. Recorded movies on Bravo air at the same local hour across the country, so that is 8pm Central and 9pm PT.
