Talking Pictures turns Friday night over to horror with Caroline Munro

Cellar Club with Caroline Munro is the only reason to tune in on a Friday night, and it fills most of the evening. It starts at 9pm with a five-minute intro, then the main show at 9:05pm, “Cellar Club Live (Water Rats)”, which runs for 95 minutes, and an outro for week 171 closes it at 10:40pm. The show also aired a week earlier, so this is a weekly Friday fixture.

The big rivals are the BBC and ITV: The Graham Norton Show and Top Gun are on at the same time as the late section, so this is the channel for anyone who has seen enough of both.

Right Hand of the Devil at 10:45pm is a 1963 film with Aram Katcher and Lisa McDonald, and not much is known about it. It follows directly after the outro and is the natural way to carry on, though I would not expect a classic of the form.
