Full Really listings for Wednesday 28 October 2026, with times in London local time.

Really saves its best hours for last

Really spends the early evening on bargain-hunting and then closes with two hours of family-history documentary, and the 10pm slot is the one to stay up for. Who Do You Think You Are? has Reggie Yates at ten, and it follows Long Lost Family at nine, so anyone who settles in at 9pm gets a two-hour block that rarely lets up. Four stars for the pairing.

Who Do You Think You Are? has run to 16 series and 125 episodes, which is a lot of ancestors, and it first aired on BBC Two. Tonight’s instalment is series 11, episode 8. It sits in a tough spot, with BBC One running its own Who Do You Think You Are? an hour earlier at nine, so this is one for people who would rather catch up than watch live.

Long Lost Family is the stronger-looking hour on the channel’s side. The programme was made for ITV1 and stands at 49 episodes to date, and Really gives it two slots today: episode 8 of series 11 at 5pm, and episode 3 of series 10 at nine. The 9pm showing meets Max Payne on 5STAR and Law & Order: Organized Crime on 5USA, and BBC One has its own family-history hour at the same time, but Long Lost Family has no direct rival in its own line.

The first half of primetime is lighter. The Yorkshire Auction House is the 7pm anchor, at series 5, episode 17, and Antiques Road Trip follows at eight with Natasha Raskin Sharp and Raj Bisram on day three of their trip. Antiques Road Trip started life on BBC Two and Really has had it on every weekday since the 15th, so it is a fixture, not an event. Fine company for tea, but neither is the reason to tune in.

Elsewhere, The Repair Shop’s Bunnies Cottage and Skateboard episode appears at 2pm and again at 6pm, so there is no need to watch both.
