Full GREAT! Romance listings for Sunday 1 November 2026, with times in London local time.

Great! Romance has gone full Christmas on 1 November, and it is mostly repeats

Great! Romance spends the whole of 1 November in December. Almost every film on the schedule has a Christmas title, and most of them are on for the second time today or the second time this week. This is a channel running a seasonal loop, and it should be read as one.

If you want one film, make it A Snowy Christmas at 7.30pm, with Elysia Rotaru and Damon Runyan. It is the primetime opener and the best-timed film of the night, though it also aired on 26 October and returns at 8.30pm after a break. Three stars, and the pick only because the rest of the evening is thinner.

The Christmas Contest at 5.40pm is the longest slot of the day at 110 minutes, with Candace Cameron Bure in the lead. A romantic comedy, and a sensible way to start the evening before the primetime film. It last aired on 29 October.

Laughing All the Way is on at 9.25pm and again at 10.25pm. Paniz Zade and Jake Epstein lead a 2023 comedy, and it is a film made for this slot rather than against Cops or Match of the Day. Two stars: fine, but nothing here argues for choosing it over what BBC Two has at 9pm.

Earlier, the afternoon is a conveyor belt: Christmas in the Ballroom at noon, The Christmas Promise at 1.50pm, Christmas in Vienna at 3.45pm. Late on, A Very Country Christmas closes the night at 11.25pm. Little here is new this week, so if you have been watching, you have seen it.
