Full GREAT! Romance listings for Saturday 31 October 2026, with times in London local time.

Christmas arrives on the thirty-first of October

Great Romance has decided Christmas starts today, and it has not hedged: every film on the channel from 08:00 onwards has Christmas in the title, most of them shown twice in a row. If that sounds like your idea of a Saturday, the best slot is Finding Father Christmas at 21:35, with Erin Krakow and Niall Matter leading the cast. It was made for Hallmark Mystery in 2016 and gets 3 stars here, partly because it has the evening to itself. The only thing starting alongside it is Not Going Out on Dave.

Earlier, It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas (2019) takes the 19:40 slot with Eric Mabius and Tricia Helfer, and returns at 20:40. That second showing runs straight into The Voice UK on ITV1 and Wisdom of the Crowd on BBC One, which is a lot of competition for a romantic comedy. Three stars again. It will find its audience mostly among people who have already seen the others.

The rest of the schedule is a conveyor belt: Miss Christmas at 12:00, Fixing Up Christmas at 15:50, A Rose for Christmas at 17:45. Each is a table row. If one has to be singled out, Miss Christmas (2017) has Brooke D’Orsay and Marc Blucas in the lead roles and is the one to pick at 12:00 if daytime is your slot.
