CBeebies on Sunday: short slots all day, and a proper wind-down at teatime

CBeebies has no big event on Sunday and does not pretend otherwise. It is 72 programmes, most of them five to fifteen minutes, which suits the age group and makes any single slot easy to miss. The best of it comes at the end of the day.

From 17:30 the channel slows down on purpose. Charlie and Lola at 17:35, Moon and Me at 17:50, BeddyByes at 18:10, then In the Night Garden at 18:20, the longest single programme of the day at 30 minutes. That is the pick, and it is as much about the order as the show: the run is built to wind a small child down towards bedtime, and Cbeebies Bedtime Stories follows at 18:50 to finish it off.

The morning has two starting points worth noting. Supertato begins at 07:10 and Bluey Minisodes at 07:50, each marked as the first episode in the schedule, both a quick five to ten minutes. Bluey itself is a daily fixture, with more at 09:25, 09:30 and 14:50.

Parents who find the same name twice will not be imagining it. Dodge’s Pup School, Vida the Vet, Knee High Spies and I Can Grow It each turn up twice today. The 16:35 CBeebies Summer Prom 2025: A Magical Bedtime Story is the longest slot before teatime at 55 minutes.
