A daily guide to what's on TV tonight
TV Radar UK publishes a guide to every evening on 32 Freeview channels. Each one is built from the published broadcast schedule, puts the night in order, and makes one recommendation, so you can see in a few seconds whether tonight is worth staying in for.
Where to start
Tonight's guide always shows the current evening. Each day of the week has its own page, from Monday to Sunday, every channel has a full schedule, such as the BBC One TV Guide, and films on TV this week lists every film on the channels we cover over the next seven days.
Frequently asked questions
What's on TV tonight?
Tonight's guide is at the top of this page: the pick of the evening first, then the full schedule across 32 channels, which you can filter by drama, entertainment, documentary, sport, films or comedy.
When is each day's guide published?
The evening before. Each guide goes up around 11pm the night before it covers, so tomorrow's TV is ready before midnight, and the day pages switch over automatically.
Are the times right?
Times come from the published broadcast schedule and are given in UK time. Broadcasters do change plans at short notice, for live sport and breaking news especially, so if a time matters, check your TV's on-screen guide close to broadcast.
How are the picks chosen?
Each guide is written from the night's listings and background facts about the programmes, and names one programme as the pick of the evening with star ratings for the strongest options. They are judgements about what is worth watching, not reviews of episodes we have seen.
Do I need to pay for any of this?
No. Every channel we cover is free to watch on Freeview with an aerial, and the site is free to read with no sign-up.
